|CDC Golden Stone and Salmonfly
Golden Stones and Salmonflies are probably the largest aquatic insects we
will see during the season, and the trout respond accordingly. The CDC wings
of these big flies provide excellent visibility while allowing them to ride low on
the water in a very natural position.
CDC Salmonfly #4-8
CDC Golden Stone #6-10
A familiar summer sight on many streams, these lively little stones can hatch in
surprising numbers. Later when eggs have been deposited, they lie almost
motionless on the surface.
CDC Drownwing Yellow Sally #12-18
CDC Fluttering Yellow Sally #12-18
The versatility of this high floating and easy to see pettern makes this one
of our most popular dry flies. At home on any water type, it can be taken for
any number of insects. An excellent choice for float fishing.
